There are 3 major ways to GET INVOLVED at ATLAS.  By far, the most important is in prayer.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18

Pray Specifically:
If you want to be part of our official prayer team, we will send you specific items to pray about.  You can contact us and let us know your email.
Pray Consistently:
Write us into your own prayer plan.  It is our goal to have someone praying in our Prayer Chapel each hour we are open for business.  If you would like to be part of this pray program, to pray at a certain time, let us know and we will set you down for a time that is convenient for you.
 

Volunteer Your Time

A second way you can GET INVOLVED is to volunteer.
We need help with the following:
 
  • Childcare Providers: who would be willing to be put on a list to be called and scheduled to watch over children during particular classes or events at ATLAS at your convenience.  Those who watch children will receive a stipend.
  • Cooks, Bakers, Helpers: who would bring a dozen cookies or bars to ATLAS for a particular class; who would make a meal to serve with a helper at one of our Alpha Courses or Treehouse gatherings; who would help serve that meal and help clean up.
  • Community Mentors: who would walk alongside someone who has been mentored by one of our staff members for some time, but need continued support now that he/she is well on his/her way toward success.  You would meet once a week at a time and place that is convenient to you both.

Financial Support

A third way you can GET INVOLVED is to do so financially.  Here are various ways you can join us in ministry right here in Pipestone County.

Monthly Donations: We have those who prefer to give monthly when figuring their budget and we welcome more supporters to give this easy way.  One testimony said "We have been giving $200 a month for years and have never missed it.  God has always provided!"

Sponsor a Week:  Our monthly expenses usually run $10,400.  So, if God calls you to share in this way, for $2600 you can sponsor a week of ministries at ATLAS.  We have businesses / individual donors / and churches who choose to help the community in this way.

In Memory of or in Honor of: You can donate a certain amount in memory of, or in honor of someone.  Notice on our front page some of those who have chosen to give in this way.

Donating Towards Books:  We have need for Celebrate Recovery Study Bibles and Life Application Bibles.  When someone accepts the Lord as their Savior, we give them their first Bible. We have given 26 away this year.  We also have given Children’s Bibles, or a devotional such as "Jesus Calling” when a situation calls for it.  Many clients have been blessed by the gift of God’s Word.

 Amazon Smile:  Do you shop amazon?  ATLAS for Life is registered to receive .5% of eligible purchases from the Amazon Smile Foundation al known as AmazonSmile.  Instead of logging into Amazon.com, you can log onto your account using www.smile.amazon.com.    This site is just like the one you already use. When you open the site the first time, you will be asked to select a charitable organization.  Remember to use the AmazonSmile site from now on and we can receive the automatic donations!  This is an easy way to benefit ATLAS ministries.

 Thrivent Financial:  We are registered as an eligible charity/nonprofit with Thrivent Financial.  If you use Thrivent Insurance, you have the option to designate a specific portion of your dividends to the charity of your choice. Many of their clients in Minnesota use their services.  We share their belief that "all we have is a gift from God and that generosity is an expression of faith."

Special Project/ One-Time Gift/ Or Year-End Giving:  If you want to contribute to a particular project or ministry, you can make mention of it in your donation.

We appreciate any and all gifts, recognizing them as a sharing of God’s blessings.  We can't do what we do at ATLAS without you!!  It's really that simple!  Without financial partners the ATLAS door would close.  We know God can afford His work.  This is His ministry, not ours.  We long for your prayers to guide us in His vision.
